This will include position work drills for half an hour, group drills for half an hour (QBs and WRs throwing, RBs and LBs doing blocking drills), and 1 on 1’s at the end for the last half hour. Their will be a 30 minute buffer between each session so the kids the college coaches identified can be talked to afterwards. As of right now their are 22 colleges confirmed to attend with closer to 30 by the actual day of the event.
And it’s not just local colleges:Washington, Montana, Iowa, Texas, South Dakota, Oregon, Nebraska, California, Kansas, Colorado and even Canada will all have schools represented there.
Between 250-300 prospects are expected on the day, but because it’s divided into three sessions, the numbers for each session should remain around 100 so prospects will get plenty of reps and the college coaches will be able to see every kid at every position.
Every participant will get a shirt with a number on the front, and a roster will be handed to every college coach and media member with a list of their names matching their jersey number. Sounds like Major media will be there and Rivals will be represented for sure! For a full list of schools, the format and times for the day, and to register go toNWStarsCamp.com.
Editors Note:College Coaches are looking for Seniors for Fall 2015 so any Senior wanting to move on and play in college will never find a better shot then this. Should be quite an experience for the kids!
